I am the Bread of Life

I am the bread of life
He who comes to me shall not hunger
He who believes in me shall not thirst
No one can come to me
Unless the father beckons
And I will raise you up(3)
On the last day.
The bread that I will give
Is my flesh for the life of the world
And if you eat of this bread
You shall live forever(2)
Unless you eat
Of the flesh of the Son of Man
And drink of his blood,
And drink of his blood,
You shall not have life within you.
I am the resurrection, I am the life
If you believe in me
Even though you die
You shall live forever.
Yes, lord I believe
That you are the Christ
The son of God
Who has come into the world.

What If?

Resurrection of Christ
Resurrection of Christ (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I am a Healer?
If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer?
If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an overcomer?
If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter?
If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver?
If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions?
If you never were in trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue
If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole?
If you never had a problem, How would you know that I can solve them?
If you never had any suffering, Then how would you know what I went through?
If you never went through the fire, Then how would you become pure?
If I gave you all things, How would you appreciate them?
If I never corrected you, How would you know that I love you?
If you had all power, Then how would you learn to depend on me?
If your life was perfect, Then what would you need me for?
GOD is Great!
God our Father, walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses and please watch over and heal my family and friends, in Jesus name, Amen.

ANG PANGINOON ANG AKING PASTOL

Koro: Ang Panginoon ang aking pastol,

Pinagiginhawa akong lubos.

Handog N’yang himlaya’y sariwang pastulan,

Ang pahingahan ko’y payapang batisan.

Hatid sa kaluluwa ay kaginhawahan,

Sa tumpak na landas, Siya ang patnubay. ( koro )

Madilim na lambak man ang tatahakin ko,

Wala akong sindak, siya’y kasama ko.

Ang hawak N’yang tungkod ang siyang gabay ko,

Tangan N’yang pamalo, sigla’t tanggulan ko. ( koro )

Will there be a celebration in hell for you?

Satan has his eye on you. He’s watching you closely. He wants you. He wants you to join his army. He wants to own your soul.
Satan rules the world. We see it all around us. He tempts us with worldly things. He hopes we will take the bait.
He looks for the cracks in our armor. He wants to drive wedges between us over things of little lasting significance. He can even use God’s Word to his purpose. He does this when we find division in our interpretations of God’s Word to the point where it causes division among us, hurt and doubt.
The success of the Roman Square was that the legionnaires stood shoulder to shoulder, both protecting one another from the enemy and greatly increasing their strength on the attack. Together we can form a great force against satan in this world, both defensive and offensive.
We are charged in the Great Commission to be offensive in witnessing for God. The world forces us to be defensive as well.
While we can debate our interpretations of God’s Word, we still must stand together. We have too many situations that cause division. Let us all keep the ultimate goal in mind, working for the glory of God and the defeat of evil in our lives. Let our voices stand united in this, let them be loud.
When our earthly lives come to an end, there can be two kinds of celebrations for us in hell.
The first can be a welcoming celebration. It would be satan’s victory celebration. He has won us… for ever. If you are here, this is not the celebration you want.
The other celebration could be that you are no longer among the earthly living. The celebration will be that one of God’s warriors has departed the earth to live in the Kingdom. One less warrior for God that chips away at satan’s rule here on earth.
For this latter celebration, we can’t be timid or passive. We have to stand for what we believe and stand up for what we are called to be. So far as satan’s concerned, we don’t really want to slip quietly into heaven.
We know we can’t earn our way into heaven. but maybe we can earn a celebration in hell when we arrive in the Kingdom!
It’s a choice…

Lifting Them Up… or Knocking Them Down?

Here’s a question to ponder today. How would God grade our interaction with other believers? In the fourteenth chapter of Paul’s letter to the Romans, He does just that. …And as always, our score is based on ‘do we look like Jesus?’
Do we offer ourselves to others as a haven of grace? Do those we meet see us as a people who gives them the freedom to be who they are, and the freedom to become who God wants them to be? Would these describe us as patient with them… willing to wait for God’s timing and plan for their lives to unfold?
To the contrary, do those we come into contact with know us only as a sermon waiting to unleash judgement and condemnation? Are they fearful of speaking and sharing their thoughts with us, knowing their words will be challenged and their doctrine criticized?
Paul would say a life of grace must display acceptance. He doesn’t tell us to agree with everyone, just to accept them. (Romans 14:1) The grace of acceptance gives others the benefit of consideration, and leaves a lot of room for differing preferences. Let’s face it, our tastes in art, music, worship styles, food, and an uncountable number of other things differ so greatly that if everything divided us, we would all live in secluded huts away from one another.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we should all feel safe in the midst of other believers, knowing we are all accepted, even when possibly wrong beliefs need to be challenged. The errors should be confronted, as acceptance doesn’t require truth to be ignored, but should always be administered with grace-driven love.
It is important we remember: (1) we don’t have the all-knowing ability of the Holy Spirit and we are not given His ministry… it is His alone. (2) God is fully capable of transforming those He is saving into the image of His Son without our condemning input. (3) We are privileged with the responsibility of sharing Jesus with others. God is not privileged by our intervention. (4) All of us must stand before Jesus and give an account of our lives. (5) Grace is the foundation of our relationship with God and others.
Before we become judgmental of another’s walk with Christ, we should acknowledge our inability to know all of the facts. We are not omniscient! We should realize that we are limited and that all of our decisions are biased and can be selfish in nature. We should take into account that while we are masters of condemning… we have no ability to redeem. The Holy Spirit can convict and, unlike us, transform.
In Christ, we must maintain a standard of excellence, but we must manage our relationships with others through principles of grace. This is the grace Jesus met us with, and expects us to freely give to others.

Pananagutan

Panginoon, turuan mo akong maging bukas-palad

Panginoon, turuan mo akong maging bukas palad
Turuan mo akong maglingkod sa Iyo
At magbigay nang ayon sa nararapat
Na walang hinihintay mula sa Iyo.

IHS - The Graduate

IHS - The Graduate
An unemployed graduate woke up one morning and checked his pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to use it to buy food and then wait for death, as he was too proud to go begging. He was frustrated as he could find no job, nobody was ready to help him.

He bought food and as he sat down to eat, an old man and two little children came along and asked him to help them with food, as they had not eaten for almost a week. He looked at them. They were so lean that he could see their bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket.

With the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food. The old man and children prayed for him, that God would bless and prosper him, and then gave him a very old coin. The young graduate said to them "you need the prayer more than I do".

With no money, no job, no food, the young graduate went under the bridge to rest and wait for death. As he was about to sleep, he saw an old newspaper on the ground. He picked it up, and suddenly he saw an advertisement for people with old coins to come to a certain address.

He decided to go there with the coin the old man gave him. On getting to the place, he gave the proprietor the coin. The proprietor screamed, brought out a big book and showed the young graduate a photograph. The old coin was worth $3M. The young graduate was overjoyed as the proprietor gave him a bank draft for $3M within an hour. He collected the bank draft, then went in search of the old man and little children.

By the time he got to where he left them eating, they had gone. He inquired from the owner of the canteen, who told him that they had left a note for him. He quickly opened the note, thinking it would lead him to find them. But alas, the words in the note read thus: "You gave us your all and we have rewarded you back with the coin" Signed God the Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.

Have you given all to Jesus Christ? If you haven't, do so today and he will surprise you.

- "Heavenly Father, most Gracious and Loving God, I pray to you that you abundantly bless my family and me. I know that you recognize that a family is more than just a mother, father, sister, brother, husband and wife, but all who believe and trust in you.
Father, I send up a prayer request for financial blessing for not only the person who sent this to me, but for me and all that I have forwarded this message on to. And that the power of joined prayer by those who believe and trust in You is more powerful than anything. I thank You in advance for Your blessings.

Father God, deliver the person reading this right now, and those who will read it in the near future, from debt and debt burdens. Release Your Godly wisdom, that I may be a good steward over all that You have given me, Father, for I know how wonderful and mighty You are, and how if we just obey You and walk in Your word and have the faith of a mustard seed that You will pour out blessings. I thank You now, Lord, for the recent blessings I have received and for the blessings yet to come because I know You are not done with me yet. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen."
Blessed Day!

You can't enjoy today if you're worrying about the past or the future

Your mind and your thoughts could be stuck in the past, continually thinking about what has already happened. If that's the case, it's best to get over it. The past has already happened; you can't do anything to change it. Rather, you ought to trust God that he is working out those things for ultimate good (see Romans 8:28).

On the other hand, your mind could be stuck in the future, thinking about what might happen, what you fear will happen, and things you wish wouldn't happen. However, being a person of faith requires trust--trusting God about the future.
Romans 15:13 says, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. You'll have joy and peace when you trust in God. Why? Because you'll be able to rest and relax knowing that God has good plans in store for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

Don't worry about the past or the future. Instead, have faith; trust God. When you trust God to help you learn from the past and provide for your future, you're free to enjoy your life today.

True peace only comes from the Prince of Peace.

Peace does not mean that everything around you is calm and tranquil; true peace means that you are able to remain peaceful during the storms of life.

But this peace, which the Bible promises is available to believers, can only come from God. Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace" (
John 16:33). In other words, Jesus came so that you could have peace.

Paul tells us, in
Philippians 4:6-7, that we can have peace if we don't become anxious about life but instead give our worries to God: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

"Hand over all of your problems to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, and He will give you a peace that passes understanding -- a peace that is beyond comprehension."

Praise The Father, Praise The Son

O sov'reign God, O matchless King-
the saints adore, the angels sing
and fall before the throne on grace
to you belongs the highest praise.

These sufferings, this passing tide
under Your wings I will abide,
and every enemy shall flee;
You are my hope and victory.

Praise the Father, Praise the Son.
Praise the Spirit, Three in One.
Clothed in power and in grace
the name above all other names.

To the valley, for my soul;
Thy great descent has made me whole!
You word my heart has welcomed home;
now peace like water ever flows.

Praise the Father, Praise the Son.
Praise the Spirit, Three in One.
Clothed in power and in grace
the name above all other names.

Praise the Father, Praise the Son.
Praise the Spirit, Three in One.
Clothed in power and in grace
the name above all other names.

Yours is the kingdom,
yours is the power.
Your is the glory forever.
Yours is the kingdom,
yours is the power.
Your is the glory forever.

Praise the Father, Praise the Son.
Praise the Spirit, Three in One.
Clothed in power and in grace
the name above all other names.
The name above all other names.

I have no time for God

I don’t have time to do my bible reading or devotional reading…really? But you have time for TV and Facebook and a whole host of other time-wasters I bet.
I don’t have time to pray. Ok…but I bet you have time to text someone, read the paper and watch the news. You have time to be on the phone…
I’m too busy to go to church each week. Uh huh…busy doing what exactly? You can’t give God an hour or so of your time to worship and listen to some biblical teaching? Be serious.
I don’t have time to help at church. And the rest of us do? We that help are just as busy as everyone else is.
If you don’t have time for God, it is because you choose not to have time for Him. We all make time for what is important to us. There really is not an acceptable excuse for not spending time with God. If you are a believer, then you need to be spending time with your Lord.
Think about this…
What if God was to busy, He did not have time when…

  1. You are praying
  2. You called out to Him for salvation
  3. You are worshipping, and the Spirit never shows up
  4. You throw up a “hail mary” to heaven in deepest need
  5. You are first seeking Him out having heard good things
The list could be endless here, but you get the idea. Just think about all the many times you need God, including the times when you did not call out His name…but He was there to protect you, maybe bring healing to you. What if God just decided that He was simply to busy to listen to you?
When we don’t spend time with God, we are saying to God; “God, you are not that important in my life. I don’t really need You all that much”.
We can’t throw God a bone every now and again like He is a dog and expect that to be ok.
The dog might like that, but God does not. God wants interaction with us each day, not on occasion.
God wants our attention, every day! Not just when we feel like fitting Him in, not when it works into our schedule…every day. Don’t make excuses why you can’t spend time with God, make time to spend with God…period.
If God saved you from the lake of fire, and He did if you are saved, then He deserves to have your time. God gave up His Son, so you could have the life you do…shouldn’t you give Him some of your time?
Just as your parents love you, God loves you because you are His child. He wants to talk with you, listen to you. Spend some time each day praying, and reading His Word. Go to church regularly; help out at church with something. Worship the Lord and give thanks, praise His name…after all, where would you be without God?
God has invested much into you; He saved you from an eternity in hell by giving up His own Son. He continues to be patient with you even when you make mistakes. God wants you to succeed, not in the way the world does, but in the way that Jesus taught us. The more we follow Christ and His teachings, the better off we will be. Following the Lord is a blessing, as we do so, we will be happier and more satisfied in our lives.
Invest your time in God…the rewards are huge

Everybody Praise the Lord

Everybody, everybody praise the Lord
Everybody, everybody praise the Lord
Everybody, everybody praise the Lord
Everybody, everybody praise the Lord
With all your heart, all your soul
All your strength, glorify!
Magnify, lift on high
The Name above all names
Not by might, nor by power
By My sprit says the Lord
Righteousness, peace and joy
The kingdom of God
Come on, everybody!
wooh ohh...
